At Impress the Guest, I constantly search for unique ways to replace essential, yet not so fabulous looking home basics with trendy decor statement pieces. This week, I was thinking about how necessary it is to have a fruit bowl, but oddly enough, I have never wanted to purchase one because I automatically assumed that they all looked as dull as they sounded.

Fortunately, my assumptions were wrong, and I have been able to find several trendy fruit bowls and baskets that are fabulous enough to keep on display. They can double as your dining table centerpiece or can be displayed on your kitchen counter/island for a pop of color and added texture if that’s something your space could use.

Listed below are a variety of my favorite bowls, baskets, and centerpieces. I tried to incorporate both minimalist and maximalist options as I know people have different tastes but you should not limit yourself to what you see below.
