How to Impress your Bathroom Guest
Bathrooms can be quite tricky. On the one hand, you want all of your products out on display to be easily accessible, yet on the other hand, you don’t want your guests snooping through your personals. So how do we get to that happy medium where our bathrooms have a personal touch but not intimate enough for our guests to leave questioning our toothpaste choice?
It’s called Balance.

I personally like to leave my bathroom feeling simple, clean, and charming. I have a balance of showcasing who I am without overdoing it. I usually have one or two candles, flowers, and maybe a perfume laying out.
Some products I’d recommend leaving out for your guests are the following:
Hand Towels

Hand towels are so essential and yet so overlooked. It is pivotal that your guest feels confident that they can do the things they want to do in the bathroom, like wash their hands, without stressing out about where they should dry their hands. Now, if you’re going to go the extra mile and truly impress some folks, you should try looking for monogrammed hand towels. My top two places to search for a personalized set of hand towels would be Esty and Amazon (obviously). The next rule of thumb for hand towels is quality. You’re either choosing for your guest to use your own hand towels, which probably are made of more excellent quality or, you’re opting for the disposable hand towel situation. Totally up to you! Some of my recommendations for guest towels include:
Cotton Hand Towels: Hammam Linen Guest Hand Towels
Tenugui Hand Towels: MIYAMOTO Japanese Traditional Towel
Luxury Hand Towels: Missoni Home Giacomo Towels
Linen Hand Towels: Sultana Luxury Linen Hand Towel
Turkish Hand Towels: SALBAKOS Premium Turkish Cotton Hotel & Spa Hand Towels
Monogrammed Hand Towels: AINATU Monogrammed Hand Towels
Disposable Hand Towels: Kleenex Hand Towels
Aromatherapy

Part of the recipe for a beautiful bathroom is a an incredible fragrance. Candles are a must, especially when a lot of people are over. I tend to light my bathroom up with several small candles and place them in pretty votives for a couple of reasons: 1) to smell nice and 2) to look nice 3) no one needs to be turning off or on any lights as long as it is lit up well enough. Next, we have another must for hosting: potpourri. Some people don’t even know what this is, and it shocks me! If you’re one of these people, guess what, now you know! Potpourri is essentially a mixture of flowers, herbs, and spices typically stored in a jar and are obviously used for scent. Lastly, we have diffusers. Diffusers are the best because they are filled with lovely essential oils and last for a very long time. There are a couple different types of diffusers, but I would suggest using a Reed diffuser for your guest bathroom space. PSA, if you’re thinking ahead, I would also buy some cool matches for those kinds of “special” situations, if you know what I mean… My recommendations for aroma products include:
