Hello to all my beautiful people reading this!! 🙂 I am so grateful that you are here. I hope 2021 has been good to you so far. It’s crazy to think that January’s already coming to an end…time flies. I’ve taken this first month to do some serious self-reflecting. Beyond the personal habits and lifestyle choices I’m trying to change, I’ve also cleaned out my closets, beauty products, make up, and any clutter that no longer serves me. If you can, do yourself a favor and de-clutter all your spaces. It truly goes a long way for your mental health. In the process of self-reflecting, I’ve set a list of goals for myself, thought long and hard about where I see myself in a couple years, and most importantly, have been reminding myself to see the good in everything, let go of things I cannot control, and remain positive. Had Covid not happened, I probably wouldn’t be where I am today, writing here, for YOU. Life has a funny way of working out, which is why there’s no point in trying to understand it. It is however important to remember that there’s always light at the end of the tunnel if you’re willing to just start. It’s not as important to have everything figured out as it is to just wake up and try something new. I’ve listed the products that have kept me happy, productive, motivated, and of course, comfortable throughout the month of January below! I hope they inspire you to do something new and keep you in a positive and happy mindset. That’s all that really matters anyways…
1. Journal

If you have never written in a journal before, I highly recommend you try it. It’s therapeutic, helps keep your thoughts organized, boosts your memory, inspires your creativity, improves your mood, and more! I only just started writing in my journal about a month ago and I haven’t put it down since. I write in it multiple times a day, about anything and everything. Whether it’s my thoughts, goals, ideas, what’s bothering me, or what I can’t take my mind off of. It’s my go-to and truly relieves me mentally!
Heart Shaped Lock Diary with Key – $21.59
Basics Classic Lined Notebook – $9.32
2. Green smoothie (also a de-bloat smoothie)

I used to run anytime I heard someone offer me a green smoothie. The thought of drinking spinach just never appealed to me. But like with everything else, you never know until you try and I am so glad I did. Beyond the good taste and health benefits, this green juice gives me so much energy and motivation. Because I’m used to eating what I want, when I want, I never realized the effect it had on my mental health and energy levels. Drink this on an empty stomach: handful of pineapple, handful of spinach, handful of parsley, handful of celery, a cucumber, about 2 cups of coconut milk (or any milk you’d like) and some ice.
3. Beats pill + Airpods

If there’s one thing the world could universally agree on, it’s everyone’s love for music. I couldn’t possibly get through any day without my speaker and headphones! I’ve been listening to a bunch of different genres, but have had my super talented friend’s new music on repeat since January 1st. I’ve shared it here so you can listen too. 🙂
Beats Pill+ Portable Wireless Speaker – $179.95
Apple AirPods with Charging Case – $128.98 (on sale now)

Since we can’t leave the house, I’ve taken cozy to a whole new level and honestly, I’m totally ok with not leaving. 🙂

5. Cashmere sets and silk pajamas

Besides the blankets, the cozy clothes are just as important! There is nothing more refreshing to me than getting out of a hot shower and into a delicious outfit made out of cashmere or silk. I actually get excited to do this lol. Oh, how Covid has changed me.

6. Ugg socks

My ugg socks might just be one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. They’re SO cozy! I highly recommend buying a pair.

7. L’Occitane almond milk concentrate

I’m obsessed with smelling good and people who smell good. This is my go-to body cream for doing so. It moisturizes my skin for two days straight and smells unbelievable. It’s enriched with powerful almond extracts and it melts into my skin so smoothly. You’ll be smelling like vanilla milk for days!
L’Occitane Smoothing & Beautifying Almond Body Milk Concentrate, 7 oz – $50
8. My bath-time products

Some people do face masks for self-care, I prefer taking a bath. There is truly nothing more therapeutic than a warm bubble bath to me. I obviously can’t offer you my tub ahahah but I can tell you the products I use that significantly enhance my bath time! 🙂
Gisou hair mask – $98
Bath bombs – $25.99
Epson Salts – $11.25
Diptyque candle (baies) – $120
9. Kiehl’s ultra facial cream

I’m not really into skin care because every time I try a product, expensive or not, I suddenly get a pimple. I don’t put anything on my face ever, and I only wash it in the shower. But the one thing I can’t live without is this ultra facial cream. I’m currently living in New York City so my skin can get pretty dry in the cold weather. This thick cream works wonders for my skin and gives me a glowy finish too!
Kiehl Ultra Facial Cream 0.95 oz – $23.60
10. Book I’m currently reading – Everybody Lies: Big Data, New Data, and What the Internet Can Tell Us About Who We Really Are

This book is absolutely incredible. If you’re interested in learning about the truth behind big data and the weird searches we make on google through the analyzation of trends, then you need this book! You’ll be laughing and cringing all at the same time.
Everybody Lies: Big Data, New Data, and What the Internet Can Tell Us About Who We Really Are – $15.49
11. Candles – specifically my caia candle

I love to light a candle before I go to sleep, I find it very relaxing. Some nights I prefer a scented candle, and other’s I prefer an aesthetically pleasing one to sit and journal next to. My favorite one at the moment is my caia candle! I’ve attached it below.

12. Byredo suede hand lotion

If you’re down to invest in some bougie hand lotion, it’s got to be this one. It smells amazing and leaves your hands feeling so soft!
