Happy end of May! I am so grateful to have made it through yet another month, and even more grateful for the people who are reading this right now! You are all my constant motivation and I appreciate every single one of you. I took the month of May to explore new hobbies and what I learned was… I have a newfound appreciation for mugs (random, I know.) But not just any kind of mugs, I’m talking about really unique and exotic mugs. To fulfill my newly discovered hobby needs, I’ve been going to every decor store in NYC on the hunt for these mugs! Have you ever heard that saying that goes something like “your first stop may not take you exactly where you want to go but it will lead you ten steps in the right direction.” Well baby, these mugs are definitely my first stop leading me ten steps in the right direction! On my hunt for mugs, I’ve seen so many other beautiful home decor pieces. I’ve seen so many new colors and patterns. Even walking into stores that have nothing I personally would buy, I’m educating my eye every step of the way. And that’s truly what is important. You want to be able to see as much as you can, touch as much as you can, and explore and experience new things always. Otherwise, how else would you get inspired? I know I’ve spoken a lot about this in my previous blog posts, but I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to just start somewhere. No matter how small, you’re still moving forward. You don’t just wake up one day and know everything. In fact, just when you think you have everything figured out, you realize how much is actually missing. So just keep going, set goals every day, and don’t be so hard on yourself. We are all just human, trying to make an impact on this earth. Do it at your own pace and DO NOT self-compare to anyone. Your journey is in no way comparable to someone else’s. Advance every day and watch how things start to flourish for you. As always, if you ever want to talk about something specific, I would love to hear it! Just shoot me an email at the email in my about page! 🙂
Aaaaaaaand without further ado, these are some pieces I’ve kept an eye on for the past month:
